How to find if your Mac has an Apple Silicon or Intel proccesor, so you can choose the right install.

• First you will need to click the apple menu (the apple logo) in the top-left corner of your screen.

  Next, select "About this Mac."

  In the windows that appears, look for the "Chip" section.

  • If it says "Apple M1, M2" or any other variant with "Apple" in the name, your Mac has an Apple Silicon proccessor.

    If it says "Intel", your Mac is using an Intel proccessor.
